Just after 2000 on this Monday evening. It's been raining all day long here in northwest New Jersey. Sitting here at my dining room table typing away, Eureka on the flat screen and, busy starting my latest blog. Only 2 days and a wake-up before we head out to LaGuardia (LGA) for our direct flight down to Columbia, SC, and a much needed respite from work, this house, and New Jersey. Our first excursion since our dog, Beamer, passed... she was a great chocolate lab and gave us 12 wonderful years. :-) We'll be driving ourselves and parking our car in long term parking right at the airport. Used Kayak for the first time to find and book our very reasonably priced round trip tickets on Delta Airlines - first time we've flown on anything other than Continental/United in years.
Can't wait to see our dear friends Chuck and BJ on Ladys Island, SC, adjacent to Beaufort! It's been way tooooo long... over 2 years since we last saw them. Got a lot of catching up to do over 5 days before we jet back up to Jersey. In my future I see: Lots of catching up over good single malt with the occasional Cuban, fishing, exercising my 2nd Amendment rights, too much eating, drinking and taking lots of photos/videos.
